Description
The RYFT Race Downpipes with Kevlar Heat Shield for the McLaren 750S Coupe and Spider are designed to complement the RYFT Titanium Race Exhaust, delivering maximum exhaust flow, faster turbo response, and a significantly more aggressive exhaust note. While RYFT's 750S-specific downpipe information is limited publicly, the 750S shares the same M840T 4.0L twin-turbo V8 architecture as the 720S, and RYFT offers race-spec downpipes featuring integrated Kevlar thermal protection for this platform.
Key Features
- Race-spec catless downpipe design for maximum flow.
- Lightweight construction engineered for high-temperature turbocharged applications.
- Integrated Kevlar heat shielding to reduce radiant heat within the engine bay.
- Direct bolt-on fitment for McLaren's twin-turbo V8 platform.
- Optimized to pair with the RYFT Titanium Race Exhaust system.
- Enhanced turbocharger acoustics and exhaust volume.
-
Performance Benefits
- Reduced exhaust backpressure.
- Faster turbo spool and improved throttle response.
- Increased horsepower potential when combined with ECU calibration.
- Greater exhaust flow efficiency at higher RPM.
- More pronounced turbo whistle, crackles, and overrun sounds.
Kevlar Heat Shield Technology
The Kevlar heat shield helps protect nearby engine components from extreme exhaust temperatures generated by the turbochargers and race downpipes. Benefits include:
- Lower engine bay temperatures.
- Reduced heat soak around the turbochargers.
- Protection for wiring, hoses, and surrounding components.
- Improved durability during track sessions and aggressive driving.
