Description
The JCR Titanium Valved Race Pipe System is a premium motorsport-inspired exhaust solution developed specifically for the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS and Spyder RS. Engineered as a direct replacement for the factory rear silencer assembly, the system eliminates major exhaust restrictions, reduces weight, and delivers the high-revving GT3-style soundtrack that the 9,000 RPM flat-six deserves.
Key Features
-
Lightweight Titanium Construction
- Titanium center section and exhaust tips dramatically reduce weight compared to the factory system.
- Approximately 6.38 kg (14 lbs) lighter than OEM, improving overall vehicle dynamics.
-
Valved Exhaust Technology
- Retains full factory exhaust valve functionality and OEM controls.
- Valves closed: refined, quieter operation for everyday driving.
- Valves open: unrestricted race-inspired sound with increased volume and character.
-
GT3-Inspired Sound
- Designed to replicate the signature sound profile of JCR's renowned GT3 exhaust systems.
- Produces a sharper, more aggressive flat-six tone while maintaining excellent drivability and minimal cabin drone during cruising.
-
Performance Improvements
- Increased exhaust flow by removing the restrictive factory silencer design.
- Reported gains of approximately 11 horsepower and 5 lb-ft of torque over the stock system.
-
Direct Bolt-On Installation
- Utilizes factory mounting locations and OEM valve vacuum lines.
- No cutting, welding, or fabrication required.
- Designed for straightforward installation and future serviceability.
-
Premium Materials
- Features Inconel 625 valve sections and OEM-spec titanium exhaust valves for durability under extreme temperatures.
- Motorsport-grade V-band clamps ensure precise tip alignment and easy maintenance.
Exhaust Tip Options
The system is available with JCR-developed titanium tip designs that improve flow while complementing the GT4 RS aesthetics:
- Titanium Weissach Style Tips
- Titanium Megaphone Tips
- Raw Titanium Finish
- Black-Coated Finish Options
These designs were developed because the factory Weissach tips were found to be restrictive for maximum performance applications.
Additional Benefits
- Emissions system remains unaffected.
- No check-engine lights or ECU calibration required.
- Optional silenced tip configurations can reduce sound levels by approximately 6–7 dB for noise-sensitive environments or track-day regulations.
Applications
- Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS
- Porsche 718 Spyder RS
For owners seeking the ultimate balance of weight reduction, performance, and controllable sound, the JCR Titanium Valved Race Exhaust System is one of the most sophisticated exhaust upgrades available for the GT4 RS and Spyder RS platform, delivering an authentic motorsport experience while retaining OEM usability and comfort.
