Description
The JCR Titanium Race Pipe (Silenced) is designed for the Porsche 992 GT3, GT3 Touring, GT3 RS, and 911 S/T, offering a significant reduction in weight while enhancing the naturally aspirated 4.0L flat-six soundtrack. Constructed entirely from titanium and featuring integrated repackable titanium silencers, it delivers an aggressive motorsport-inspired tone without the extreme volume of a non-silenced system.
Key Features
- 100% titanium construction
- Integrated repackable titanium silencers
- Approximately 12.08 kg (26.6 lbs) lighter than the OEM rear silencer
- Estimated gains of 15 hp and 6 lb-ft of torque
- Designed to maintain low-end torque while improving high-rpm flow up to the 9,000 rpm redline
- OEM-style GT 3-bolt exhaust tip flange compatibility
- Includes electronic valve-delete modules to prevent fault codes when removing the factory valved system
- Compatible with:
- Porsche 992 GT3
- Porsche 992 GT3 Touring
- Porsche 992 GT3 RS
- Porsche 911 S/T
Sound Characteristics
JCR developed the silenced race pipe to emulate the high-pitched, race-car-like tone of the Porsche 911 RSR while reducing overall dB levels compared to the non-silenced version. The integrated silencers help control resonance and track-day noise output while preserving the sharp, naturally aspirated character of the GT3 engine.
Performance & Driving Benefits
- Improved exhaust flow over the restrictive factory OPF-equipped system
- Noticeably sharper throttle response
- Enhanced high-rpm sound quality
- Reduced rear-end weight for improved handling balance
- Eliminates the muted character introduced by modern particulate filters (OPF/GPF) while retaining a more civilized volume level than the race-oriented non-silenced setup.
Compatibility Notes
- OEM exhaust tips are not compatible.
- JCR-specific exhaust tips must be selected to complete the system.
- Available with various tip options including Titanium Megaphone, Titanium Cup, and Inconel Rolled tips.
